THE HOUSE
All of La Magnolia’s rooms are located in a building that was built at the end of the 1800’s, placed in a quiet, residential area, just a few steps away from the centre of Bologna.
The Bizzarri Family owned the house for more than 100 years and thanks to our grandma came a lovely idea to make La Magnolia a place of true hospitality, welcoming anyone and everyone from all over the world. La Magnolia is one of the first B&B that opened in Bologna in late 1995. The house was renovated in the last decades so that her architecture and style could remain fresh and new, in order for all of our Guests to enjoy a perfect stay.
SLEEPING IN THE QUIET OF A FLOWERY GARDEN
Spring brings to La Magnolia a storm of colours and perfumes. Franca and her sister, Silvia, passionate about flowers and plants, will provide you with a beautiful backdrop of nature at every eye-turning moment.
You will almost forget you are located in a city, where you can go downtown in a matter of minutes and take a nice walk. This is the place where time seems to stop and where you can appreciate the genuine care we have for hospitality and service.
STYLISH AND SIMPLE HOSPITALITY
All of our rooms and furniture pieces showcase Franca and Sara’s welcoming style: simplicity, warmth, and genuine hospitality.
Delicate pastel colours and a pre-dominant smell of luscious magnolias accompany our Guests in all of our rooms and premises. You will note our passion for little details, especially in our Veranda, where you’ll have your morning breakfast. You will see large, stained glasses facing the garden, from what has to be our favourite place of the entire house. Let us pamper you with our cakes, tarts and biscuits while drinking juice or coffee. The perfect awakening is waiting for you!
Rooms
La Magnolia B&B offers its Guests single or double rooms, with singles or king-sized beds, reachable directly from our private, green courtyard.
All rooms are furnished in a comfortable and cosy way, with sanitary facilities also available for persons with disabilities. All rooms include a smart TV, a small fridge, and obviously bed linens and towels for each Guest. All rooms are cleaned every day and towels are changed as planned on the third day of stay, to respect the environment. For any special needs/requests and to guarantee that all of our Guests have a comfortable stay, a daily towel change is available on request and at a small extra cost.
Room 01
This is one of the two rooms located on the first floor. It has a small balcony facing our private, green courtyard behind the house.
Room 02
This is the second room located on the first floor. It is an actual mini-apartment with a large, private terrace facing our garden.
Room S
This is one of the two rooms located on the ground floor. It has windows to our garden.
Room C
This is the second room located on the ground floor. It has a beautiful, French-sized bed.

Variation of our prices is seasonal. The above prices include breakfast. All rooms include a smart TV, a small fridge, and towels for each Guest. Room cleaning will occur on a daily basis. Towels are changed on the third day of stay, to respect the environment. For any special needs/requests and to guarantee that all of our Guests have a comfortable stay, a daily towel change is available on request and at a small extra cost of € 5,00/person. If you are planning a longer stay, a custom price can be considered.
La Magnolia B&B offers a private parking area as well as a discounted parking area right in front of our entrance. Please note to always ask for parking availability at the time of your request.
